Steps to Membership
Complete the enclosed application and return it to ASEA along with the appropriate
application fee.
ASEA will review your application.
If your experience meets ASEA's requirements for membership your application
will be approved. If your application is not approved, your entire processing
fee will be immediately refunded.
Within 10 working days, after
ASEA has approved your membership, you will receive a letter of acceptance
and a Code of Ethics.
The Code of Ethics must be signed and returned, along with the remainder
of your certification/membership fee. (ASEA membership dues are tax deductible.)
Once your fees are paid, ASEA will send your Certification Document, sample
appraisal, an Appraiser's Handbook and a wallet-sized identification card listing your name,
appraiser number and membership expiration date.
